Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Mehrotra Silk Factory, we take pride in the quality of our products and strive to ensure that every purchase meets your expectations. However, in rare cases where a refund is required, our policy is as follows:

Claiming Refunds (Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/PayPal Transactions):

  1. Since the payment is processed online at the time of purchase, any approved refund will be made directly to the original mode of payment.
  2. Banks usually take 4–7 business days to process refunds once initiated from our end. In some cases, it may take slightly longer depending on your bank’s policies.
  3. Refunds are not applicable if a customer has self-shipped an item(s) and the package is lost in transit.

No Refunds Will Be Issued in Case of International Shipments, If:

  1. An incorrect or outdated delivery address is provided by the customer.
  2. Delivery fails after 3 unsuccessful attempts by the courier partner.
  3. The package is refused by the recipient at the time of delivery.

Refund Eligibility:

  • Refund requests must be raised within 7 days of receiving the order.
  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in their original packaging with tags intact.
  • Certain products such as customized, made-to-order, or discounted items may not be eligible for a refund unless received in damaged/defective condition.

Order Cancellations:

  • Orders can only be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase if they have not yet been processed or shipped.
  • Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation requests cannot be accepted.

Damaged or Defective Products:

If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us immediately at mehrotrasilkexports@gmail.com with supporting images/videos. Upon verification, we will arrange for a replacement or refund as per your preference.

Important Notes:

  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable unless the product is defective or incorrect.
  • Refund timelines may vary depending on your location and payment method.
  • In case of international orders, customs duties and import taxes are non-refundable.
