Return & Exchange Policy

At Mehrotra Silk Factory, we value the trust you place in us and are committed to providing you with high-quality handwoven products. Since all our items are handcrafted by traditional artisans in rural India, each product is unique and may have slight variations in weave, print, or stitch. These irregularities are not considered defects but rather a hallmark of handcrafted authenticity.

Despite these natural variations, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, we do allow returns, exchanges, or refunds (for eligible product categories) under the conditions mentioned below.

Scope of Policy:

  • This Return & Exchange Policy is applicable only to domestic orders placed through our official website (www.mehrotrasilk.com).
  • Products purchased from offline stores, exhibitions, or third-party platforms are not covered under this policy.

Return/Exchange Timeline:

  • You may request a return, refund, or exchange within 7 days of delivery.
  • Requests must be initiated via email at mehrotrasilkexports@gmail.com or by calling +91 90058 90001.
  • If the delivered item is damaged, defective, or missing, please report it within 48 hours of delivery with supporting photos/videos.

Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Products:

  • Used, washed, altered, or damaged items.
  • Customized or made-to-order products.
  • Discounted or clearance sale items (unless defective).

However, exceptions will be made for items with manufacturing defects (subject to quality check) or if the wrong product was delivered.

Conditions for Accepted Returns/Exchanges:

  1. Item(s) must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and returned in their original packaging with tags intact.
  2. Returned products will undergo a Quality Check. Mehrotra Silk Factory reserves the right to reject returns that show signs of wear, damage, or tampering.

Reverse Pickup Policy:

  • We offer a simple and hassle-free reverse pickup service for eligible pin codes within India.
  • Once approved, the item(s) will be picked up within 5 business days of your request.
  • Please ensure items are securely packed to avoid damage in transit.
  • If reverse pickup is unavailable in your area, you will need to self-ship the product to our warehouse (address as per original invoice).
  • If a self-shipped return is lost in transit, no refund/exchange will be processed.
  • Note: Reverse pickup facility is not available for international orders.

Refunds & Exchanges:

  • Once we receive the returned product and it passes our quality check, your refund/exchange will be processed within 5–7 business days.
  • Refunds will be made to the original mode of payment only.
  • In case of an exchange, the replacement product will be dispatched within 3–5 business days after we receive the return.

Important Notes:

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the product is defective or wrong.
  • International customers must self-ship returns. Customs duties and taxes are non-refundable.
